The State Committee for Refugees and IDPs held the next reception of citizens on March 19.     

Chairman of the State Committee Rovshan Rzayev, deputy chairmen, head of administration, heads of divisions and departments received citizens and listened to their appeals. 

The IDPs who came to the reception mainly applied related to the improvement of housing and living conditions, employment, status, utilities, and single monthly allowance. It was noted that the issues raised in the appeals will be investigated and resolved according to the legislation. 

It was stated that the President Ilham Aliyev takes consistent measures to address the social problems of IDPs and improve their housing conditions. This year, thousands of IDPs celebrate Novruz holiday in fully repaired comfortable apartments. The amount of single monthly allowance received by hundreds of thousands of IDPs is being increased by 50 percent from April 1 by the decree of the head of our state. This year, much more internally displaced families are planned to be provided with new apartments. Currently, construction of new residential complexes and settlements in Baku and in the regions is underway.

In order to implement the instruction of the First Vice President Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva, who constantly treats the problems of IDPs in a sensitive way, families with the most difficult living conditions will be relocated to apartments in the residential complexes to be newly commissioned in the first place. 

The next reception of citizens at the State Committee will be held after Novruz holiday.
